五大明王之一，是藏传佛教尊奉的主要本尊之一。 此尊分体铸造，通体鎏金，大威德为九头三十四臂，九头分三层排列，正面为牛头，牛角粗大，血盆大口，头戴五骷髅冠；最上一头，为文殊菩萨头像，表示大威德金刚是文殊菩萨的化身。头顶红发上竖，象征忿怒。上身饰璎珞，佩饰宝璐，双臂、腕踝均戴钏镯。
