The Cambi Auction House Design Department's most prestigious live auction dedicated to Fine Design returns with a major new catalog. This semi-annual single-round event celebrates fine design with a careful selection of elements and objects of furniture, lighting and masterpieces signed by the most renowned masters of Italian and international design.

The absolute star of the auction and catalog cover, is lot 33, a rare chair by Carlo Mollino made for the Galleria della Casa Editrice Lattes in Turin. This extraordinary work, dated 1951, features a curved and polished walnut plywood frame, resinflex technical fabric and brass metal details. Only four examples of this chair exist, with storage number at the Casa Mollino Museum: CM 323-4. (Estimate: €80,000.00 - 120,000.00).

Also notable in the catalog is Lot 2, consisting of two armchairs by Carlo Bugatti, dating to about 1900, with carved and ebonized wood frames, upholstered in painted parchment with pewter inlays and embossed copper applications. (Estimate: €18,000.00 - 22,000.00).

Also by Carlo Bugatti, Lot 2 stands out, a valuable sideboard by Carlo Bugatti circa 1900, in worked and ebonized wood, with pewter and brass inlays, embossed copper applications, and painted parchment covers. (Estimate: €15,000.00 - 20,000.00).

Also of great value is lot 52, the large hanging lamp model 2493 by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, dated c. 1960, with metal frame, lacquered aluminum reflectors and chiseled crystals. (Estimate: € 15,000.00 - 20,000.00).

Unmissable Ettore Sottsass, with lot 79, the furniture model Bastonio CS. 114 with mirror model Orsetta SP.47 for Poltronova, dated 1966. The cabinet, measuring 60x114x h 101 cm, is made of different wood essences with a polychrome finish, while the tilting mirror has a brass and lacquered wood frame.
